What is the difference between the standalone Lifeline products and the Individual Profile?
The Key Safe QR Sticker, standalone NFC Keyring and NFC Pocket/Purse Card are simple individual physical products linked to a lifetime Lifeline profile with free information updates. The £39.99 Individual Profile is a complete package containing multiple stickers and an NFC-enabled keyring, together with free audits, up to three free product replacements and no annual reactivation fee.
Do the standalone products have a yearly fee?
No yearly reactivation fee is listed for the Key Safe QR Sticker, standalone NFC Keyring, NFC Pocket/Purse Card or Individual Lifeline Profile. Each includes a lifetime profile and free information updates.
What happens if a standalone sticker, keyring or pocket card is lost or damaged?
Free lost or damaged product replacement is not included with standalone Key Safe QR Sticker, NFC Keyring or NFC Pocket/Purse Card purchases. The Individual Profile includes up to three free product replacements. Care Provider and Supported/Assisted Living profiles include free product replacements for life.
How does the £9.99 provider reactivation work?
Care Provider and Supported/Assisted Living profiles have a £9.99 annual reactivation fee per resident after initial enrolment. The profile manager will be contacted near the reactivation time, and the reactivation process takes only a few minutes to complete.
What is the annual scheme participation certificate?
Care Provider and Supported/Assisted Living profiles include an annual scheme participation certificate. It can be used as supporting evidence that the service is participating in the Lifeline scheme during regulatory inspections. It does not replace the provider’s own governance, records or regulatory responsibilities.
How do I set up the profile after buying?
The Lifeline product is dispatched first. Once it arrives, scan the QR code and complete the initial profile. The profile holder or authorised person chooses what information to include.
How do I update information later?
Scan the Lifeline code, open the profile, scroll to the bottom and use the update profile link. Details, information and documents can then be updated when needed.
What information can a Lifeline profile contain?
The profile can include medical conditions, medication, allergies, emergency contacts, key safe or access notes, communication needs, care notes and supporting documents selected by the profile holder.
What happens when a profile is accessed?
The hosted profile opens and, where included, nominated contacts can receive an email access alert. Responder notes can also generate email alerts.
Can I request an access audit?
Audit support is included with the Individual Profile and provider profiles as described above. The Key Safe QR Sticker also retains its existing scan-audit-on-request feature.
