Yes. The majority of Paramind Medical Ltd first aid courses are accredited by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) and are fully Health & Safety Executive (HSE) compliant. If your employer specifies RQF-regulated certification (e.g. Ofqual Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work or First Aid at Work) or EYFS-compliant Paediatric First Aid, we can provide this for a small upgrade fee. We always recommend checking with your employer (or potential employer) which certification they require before booking. Our courses are delivered by experienced first aid instructors, including paramedics, nurses and clinical trainers where appropriate.

Which course types are available across the UK?
All core courses are available across most UK locations: Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) — 1 day; First Aid at Work (FAW) — 3 days; Paediatric First Aid; and Mental Health First Aid. Annual refreshers and bespoke on-site training are also available. Courses are FAIB-accredited by default; RQF-regulated or EYFS-compliant certification is available as a small upgrade where required.
Are Paramind Medical first aid courses FAIB accredited?
Yes. The majority of Paramind Medical Ltd first aid courses are accredited by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB), one of the UK’s leading independent accreditation bodies for first aid training. FAIB-accredited certificates meet HSE requirements for workplace first aid and are accepted by most UK employers. FAIB is recognised by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) under its regulatory framework for first aid at work training providers.
What is the difference between FAIB, RQF and EYFS certification — and which do I need?

FAIB (First Aid Industry Body) — the standard independent certification that meets HSE workplace requirements and is accepted by most UK employers. Issued with every Paramind Medical course as standard.

RQF (Regulated Qualifications Framework) / Ofqual Level 3 — a regulated qualification required by some employers, sectors or regulators. Available as a small upgrade.

EYFS-compliant Paediatric First Aid — required for Early Years settings such as nurseries and childminders under the Early Years Foundation Stage statutory framework. Available as a small upgrade.

Who delivers Paramind Medical first aid training?
Our courses are delivered by experienced, qualified first aid instructors. The instructor pool includes paramedics, nurses and specialist clinicians where appropriate, alongside dedicated first aid trainers with frontline and workplace experience. Not every trainer is a paramedic, but every course is quality-assured by our clinical team at Paramind Medical Ltd.
