Charlie’s Festival raises £16,000 as Paramind Medical Ltd proudly provides medical cover

Charlie’s Festival proved to be an incredible day, bringing people together in support of Charlie’s Promise and raising an amazing £16,000 for the charity.

Paramind Medical Ltd was proud to provide the medical cover for the festival and to play a small part in a day dedicated to supporting an organisation whose work is genuinely helping to save lives.

Charlie’s Promise was established in memory of 17-year-old Charlie Cosser, following his fatal stabbing at a party in 2023. The charity works tirelessly to educate young people about the devastating consequences of knife crime, supporting communities and campaigning for meaningful change.

For Paramind Medical Ltd, our connection with Charlie’s Promise is particularly personal.

Our founder was one of the first Paramedics to attend Charlie on the night he was stabbed. It is an experience that has remained with him ever since, and one of the reasons why the work carried out by Charlie’s family and everyone involved with Charlie’s Promise means so much to us.

Being able to return in very different circumstances and provide the medical team for an event held in Charlie’s memory was therefore both a privilege and an emotional milestone.

The festival itself was a wonderful example of what can happen when a community comes together. Alongside raising an incredible £16,000, the event helped continue the conversation around knife crime, education and prevention while celebrating Charlie’s life and the extraordinary work now being carried out in his name.

We are incredibly proud to support Charlie’s Promise and grateful to have been part of such a successful day.

For us, this is more than simply supporting another organisation. Charlie’s Promise is a charity that will forever remain close to our hearts, and we look forward to continuing to stand alongside Charlie’s family and the wider charity as their work continues.
