Our Paramedics operate as roving clinicians and are equipped to manage medical emergencies on site, providing reassurance to organisers, staff, and attendees.

What is included in this service

• Hire of one HCPC registered Paramedic for a single event.

This service is suitable for events, corporate functions, sporting activities, and public gatherings where immediate clinical expertise is required.

Conveyance and escalation to A&E

In the event that hospital conveyance is required, the attending Paramedic will carry out a full clinical assessment and liaise directly with NHS ambulance services where appropriate.

Paramind Medical Ltd does not provide private ambulance transport as part of this service. All escalations are managed through established NHS pathways to ensure patient safety and continuity of care.

Medications

Paramedics will administer treatment within their professional scope of practice. Only over the counter medications may be supplied at events, in line with current legislation and clinical governance requirements.

Event safety and clinician numbers

Event medical cover must be appropriate to the size, nature, and risk profile of the event.

The Purple Guide provides nationally recognised guidance on recommended medical staffing levels. The hire of a single Paramedic may not be sufficient for larger or higher risk events.

Paramind Medical Ltd reserves the right to advise on, or require, additional clinical cover where necessary to meet safety and compliance standards.

Risk assessment requirements

A suitable and sufficient event risk assessment must be provided prior to the event.

This information is essential to allow appropriate planning, clinical preparation, and confirmation that the requested level of cover is suitable.

Failure to provide adequate or accurate event information may result in refusal of service.

Booking conditions and important information

• A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for all bookings.

• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will incur a 50 percent cancellation fee before any refunded sum is returned.

• All clinicians supplied are HCPC registered, hold enhanced in date DBS certificates, and are covered by professional indemnity and public liability insurance.

• Full event details must be provided at checkout, including location, duration, expected attendance, and event type.

• Paramind Medical Ltd reserves the right to refuse service where insufficient or inaccurate information is provided.

• In cases where we are unable to facilitate the hire of a Paramedic following review of submitted event details, a full refund will be issued immediately.

Terms and Conditions of Booking

Paramedic Event Cover – Single Day Hire

These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made with Paramind Medical Ltd for the hire of a Paramedic for event or function medical cover.

By proceeding with a booking, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms set out below.

1. Service description

Paramind Medical Ltd provides HCPC registered Paramedics for single event medical cover on a roving basis. This service includes the deployment of one Paramedic for up to 8 hours of on site medical cover, equipped with appropriate clinical equipment including defibrillation, wound care supplies, and critical haemorrhage control equipment.

This service does not include the provision of a dedicated response or transport vehicle.

2. Booking notice requirements

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for all bookings. Bookings made with less than 24 hours notice may be refused at the discretion of Paramind Medical Ltd.

3. Event information requirements

Full and accurate event details must be provided at the time of booking. This includes, but is not limited to, the event location, date, duration, expected attendance numbers, event type, and risk profile.

A suitable and sufficient event risk assessment must be provided prior to the event taking place.

Paramind Medical Ltd reserves the right to refuse or withdraw services where insufficient, inaccurate, or misleading information is provided.

4. Right to refuse service

Paramind Medical Ltd reserves the right to refuse service if, following review of the submitted event details and risk assessment, the requested level of medical cover is deemed inappropriate or unsafe for the nature of the event.

In cases where service is refused following submission of event details, a full refund will be issued immediately.

5. Clinical scope and medications

Paramedics will operate within their professional scope of practice and in accordance with current legislation and clinical governance standards.

Only over the counter medications may be supplied as part of this service. Prescription only medications are not provided.

6. Escalation and hospital conveyance

Where hospital assessment or treatment is required, the attending Paramedic will carry out a clinical assessment and liaise directly with NHS ambulance services for escalation.

Paramind Medical Ltd does not provide private ambulance transport as part of this service. All hospital conveyance is managed through established NHS pathways.

7. Staffing levels and the Purple Guide

Medical staffing levels must be appropriate to the size, nature, and risk profile of the event.

The Purple Guide provides nationally recognised guidance on medical provision at events. The hire of a single Paramedic may not be sufficient for higher risk or larger events.

Paramind Medical Ltd reserves the right to recommend or require additional clinical staff in order to meet safety and compliance requirements.

8. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice prior to the event start time will incur a cancellation fee of 50 percent of the total booking value. Any remaining balance will be refunded after the deduction of this fee.

Cancellations made with more than 24 hours notice will be refunded in full.

9. Insurance, registration, and safeguarding

All clinicians supplied by Paramind Medical Ltd are HCPC registered, hold enhanced in date DBS certificates, and are covered by professional indemnity and public liability insurance.

10. Client responsibilities

The client is responsible for ensuring that accurate information is provided at the time of booking and that any changes to event details are communicated promptly.

Failure to provide accurate or updated information may result in refusal or withdrawal of service without refund.

11. Limitation of liability

Paramind Medical Ltd shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or delay arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, access restrictions, or emergency service delays.

12. Acceptance of terms

By completing a booking and making payment, the client confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions in full.
