Ambulance services, police, fire and rescue services, community responders, district nursing teams, carers, support workers, and other professionals requiring urgent access to important information may all benefit. The system may also assist in a range of welfare or vulnerability related situations, not only medical emergencies.
Why not just use the medical information on a phone
Many elderly or vulnerable people do not always carry a phone. Even when a phone is present, it may be flat, misplaced, or not immediately obvious. Paramind Medical Lifeline provides visible and practical access points through stickers, a keyring, and a bracelet, making it suitable even where no mobile phone is used.
What happens when the QR code is scanned
The hosted profile opens and an email scan alert is sent to nominated contacts. This supports timely awareness for next of kin, care managers, or support workers.
What is a responder note and how should it be used
A responder note is an optional message submitted by the person accessing the profile. If one is submitted, it is sent by email to nominated contacts. It is informational and may help those supporting the profile holder understand what has happened or what action has been taken.
Can families and care settings receive scan audits
Yes. Scan logs and exports can be provided to support communication, records, and incident review. Every scan is recorded and audits of scans can be produced at any time on request.
How quickly will we receive the stickers, keyring, or bracelet
Bracelet orders are normally dispatched with free P&P within 24 hours. Physical items within the lifetime packages are dispatched by First Class post after payment is received and the profile details have been completed. Delivery relates to dispatch of the physical items only.
