Our First Aid at Work training in the UK is suitable for workplaces where a higher level of first aid provision is required, including:

What the course covers
This three day First Aid at Work course provides in depth, practical training covering a wide range of workplace emergencies, including:
- The role and responsibilities of a workplace first aider
- Assessing incidents and managing the scene safely
- Unconscious casualties and airway management
- Adult CPR and use of an AED
- Choking management
- Severe bleeding, shock, and wound care
- Fractures, soft tissue injuries, and spinal considerations
- Burns, scalds, and eye injuries
- Medical emergencies including asthma, seizures, and anaphylaxis
- When and how to escalate to the emergency services
Training is practical and confidence focused, helping learners respond effectively in real workplace situations.
Training delivery
First Aid at Work courses booked through Paramind Medical are delivered by trusted training partners. Course availability, delivery location, and venue type vary by area, with options available for both individual learners and group bookings.
If you are booking on behalf of a business or organisation, we can assist with arranging on site delivery or suitable local venues.
Certification and course completion
On successful completion of the course, learners receive a First Aid at Work certificate awarded via the First Aid Industry Body. Certificates are valid for three years.
Where an employer requires an Ofqual regulated certificate, an Ofqual certification upgrade is available on request for a small additional fee, subject to eligibility and assessment requirements.
Peace of mind ticket – £5 optional add on
For added flexibility, individual learners can purchase a Peace of Mind Ticket for just £5 at checkout.
This allows you to rebook your course for a future date if something unexpected occurs, provided at least 24 hours’ notice is given.
